In modern quality assurance, laser diffraction is indispensable today, for the simple, quick and dependable determination of the particle size. The areas of application here cover practically all branches of industry from the food industry to the building materials industry up to the application in the chemical industry. For example, laser diffraction can be found in the receiving, but also in the pre-delivery inspection of base materials, in which their particle size is either significant for the processability or directly for the quality and the therefore related end product. Or for the control of individual process steps, the size distribution of intermediate goods is determined. Read the details about the determination of particle size distributions
