Young Talents in Protein Biotechnology: Rainer Rudolph Foundation Launches New Prize

Rainer Rudolph Foundation: This year, the newly-established Foundation will be awarding prizes to young researchers who have completed an outstanding final thesis (Bachelor's, Master's, Diploma or Doctoral as well as cooperations between academia and industry) in the fields of protein biochemistry and biotechnology. Amgen to Acquire Micromet

Amgen and Micromet announced that the companies have entered into a definitive merger agreement under which Amgen will acquire Micromet, a biotechnology company founded in Germany with its research and development (R&D) center in Munich and headquarters in Rockville, Md., for $11 per share in cash.
