SLAS2012: In an industry where change is the only constant, companies need to stay ahead of the curve by continually deploying new technology that dramatically impacts the world of laboratory science. Through the New Product Award (NPA) Designation, the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) will recognize up to three companies presenting new products at SLAS2012, February 4-8, San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, CA, USA.
All exhibiting companies launching new products at the First Annual SLAS Conference and Exhibition are encouraged to participate in the NPA competition, which recognizes exceedingly innovative and high-quality products developed within the last year.
"SLAS2012 is a valuable forum for companies to present their new products for the first time, as we will welcome more than 5,000 influencers and decision makers from around the world," says Michelle Palmer, SLAS president. "The New Product Award Designation will honor companies presenting the most impactful new products that will inspire our scientific community and improve the practice of laboratory science and technology."
In order to participate, exhibiting companies must complete an entry form by 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5.
Judging takes place Monday, Feb. 6 and Tuesday, Feb. 7. For immediate questions concerning the NPA Award, please contact Katie Woywod at kwoywod@slas.org. Also, for more information on SLAS2012 or the NPA Designation rules and regulations or prizes, visit http://www.SLAS2012.org.
