Automatic Laboratory Refractometers of ATR-series
The new automatic critical angle refractometers of Schmidt & Haensch are designed for measuring the refractive index of liquid media for applications in the quality control of production and laboratory.
The innovative modular concept allows to choose between several features.
Besides resolution and precision are available:
- Single or flow through measurement
- Measuring range
- Sample temperature control via water bath or internal Peltier-Thermostat
- Standard scales
- individual user scales
- Coupling with Schmidt & Haensch Polarimeter (Polartronic or Saccharomat)
Refractive Index measurements are influenced by sample temperature. That means it has to take into consideration the exact temperature to be able to measure or calculate the correct value. Temperature sensors are implemented in the prism near to the sample.
All ATR-Refractometers are in compliance with international standards (e.g. ASTM, AOAC, DIN/ISO, FDA, ICUMSA, OIML). For 21 CFR part 11 requirements software “Aquisys 2008” is available optionally.
Refractometers of ATR-series are almost nearly maintenance free.
