Berghof Sells Environmental Express HotBlock Digestion Systems

Berghof, itself the manufacturer of the speedwave microwave digestion devices and the digestec pressure digestion systems, will be selling from now on the HotBlock digestion systems of Environmental Express, Charleston (South Carolina), USA.
Environmental Express has revolutionized acid digestion of easy-to-digest samples such as waste, soil, sludge, wastewater etc. by introducing the principle of disposability. Up to 96 samples are digested simultaneously in disposable vessels in the PTFE-coated graphite heating blocks, "HotBlocks".
The same vessel is worked with from weighing in through to spectroscopic analysis. At no time is it necessary to transfer the sample solution. Therefore contamination is prevented effectively. Full automation of the digestion process is feasible with the unique AutoBlock systems. This addition to the product range now enables Berghof to offer digestion solutions for easy-to-digest environmental or food samples, even including the most difficult ceramic samples.
