The European Lab Automation Conference and Exhibition 2013

ELA 2013: Staying updated to the latest advances in technology and ensuring that the most effective, automation techniques are being employed can be challenging. Attending conferences and exhibitions throughout the year provides scientists not only the opportunity to share their experiences and to network with researchers in their field, but delegates can also discuss their challenges with equipment manufacturers who can often help to tailor a solution to meet their automation needs.

Since 1999, Select Bio has gained a reputation in consulting Biomedical Enterprises. Starting three years ago, Select Bio combined many of its successful smaller congresses into one integral event: the European Lab Automation (ELA). In the same manner that lab automation saves time and multiplies capacities, ELA intends to make life easier and more effective for visiting industry representatives, scientists and decision makers.

The 3rd annual ELA Tradeshow and Congress will be held at the Congress Centre Hamburg (CCH), Germany, 6-7 June. Continuing on its already established theme, delegates will have the option of attending five different parallel conferences, each of which includes internationally renowned Keynote Speakers, Research Presentations and Technology Spotlights. The show will also add extra value for attendees with satellite Symposia, Training Courses and Workshops.

The five conferences that make up ELA 2013 are:

  • Chemistry Automation & Liquid Handling
  • Drug Discovery Automation: High-content Screening & Cell Based Assays
  • Nano & Microfluidics
  • Next-Gen Sequencing
  • Biobanking: Preparation, Storage & Analysis

These conference streams will be supported by leading solution providers who will showcase the latest in automated instruments and workflows in the exhibition hall. Together, the vendor exhibition and scientific presentations offer an unmatched opportunity to encourage technological discussions and scientific collaboration.
