Photosynthesis-like Process Found in a Small Insect

Photosynthesis - basically - is a process that is mainly used by plants to convert sunlight into chemical energy.In a recent publication in the journal Scientific Reports researchers now found that a photosynthesis like mechanism in aphids (Acyrthosiphon pisum).
