Choose Olympus’ Award-winning CX3 Series for Routine Microscopy
Olympus’ CX3 series of upright microscopes for routine microscopy delivers superior ergonomics and reduces fatigue during long periods of use. The CX23 microscope, recognized with an “iF Design Award” in 2017, combines reliable optical quality with bright, uniform illumination – perfect for educational settings. The CX43 and CX33 microscopes add further features ideal for intensive and regular use, facilitating natural posture at the microscope while providing easy access to all observation techniques.
Designed for Comfort
The CX33 and CX43 are specially designed for comfortable daily intensive use. Frequently used controls have been lowered, allowing a natural position for the user’s arms during operation. The stage is 70 mm lower, resulting in a large working space under the eyepiece and making it easier to check or swap samples with just one hand. The stage and co-axial focus knobs have also been lowered, so users can reach them while their forearms remain on the desk. A five-position revolving nosepiece features a unique finger rest which enables users to quickly change magnification with minimal arm movement. All observation techniques, from brightfield to fluorescence are easily accessible
Designed for Reliability
Improving workflows for educational and routine microscopy, the award-winning CX23 features a compact design and enhanced portability, usability and security.
The light and stable metal frame makes it a robust and cost-effective choice for use in an educational setting as well as in the field. A maintenance- and centering-free LED light source ensures years of worry-free use.
For the CX3 microscope series Olympus has designed an innovative, centering-free LED light source with a long 60,000-hour lifetime, providing stable imaging performance over long periods of time. This light source also provides uniform illumination and constant color temperature at any brightness level, ensuring true-to-life color representation for a wide range of stains and allowing users to carry out faster analyses with increased confidence.
